Possible applications
Th e blender can be used for m ixing a w ide
variety of drink s, crush ing ice, reducing fruit
and vegetables, w h ipping cream , etc.
Cord storage draw er
(Figure 2)
Th e appliance is fitted w ith a storage draw er
at th e bottom . If th e connection cord to th e
pow er outlet is too long, it can be fed back
into th e draw er until it is th e req uired length .
Disassem bling th e Appliance
Tak e th e plug out of th e sock et.
Rem ove th e lid (Figure 1/D ).
Rem ove th e tank (Figure 3).
Turn th e blade assem bly counter- clock w ise
and rem ove it by using th e m easuring cup.
Th e grooves of th e m easuring cup fit th e ribs
of th e blade assem bly (Figure 4).
You can now rem ove th e rubber seal
(Figure 5).
Caution! th e blade assem bly is very sh arp. It
can cause injury if h andled incorrectly! Th e
rubber seal can easily be irreparably dam aged
by th e blade assem bly.
Caution! Do not use force w h en tak ing th e
blade assem bly out of th e blender, as th is
m igh t cause dam age. If necessary, tilt it
sligh tly w h en rem oving.
Assem bling th e Blender
Place th e rubber seal on th e blade assem bly
(Figure 5).
Insert th e blade assem bly h olding th e blender
dow nw ards. Turn it clock w ise to fasten it by
using th e m easuring cup (Figure 6). Caution!
H andle carefully!
Seat th e tank on th e m otor casing, ensuring
th at th e tw o arrow s are in alignm ent w ith
one anoth er (Figure 7).
Set th e lid on th e tank .
Th e blender w ill not operate unless th e tw o
arrow s are correctly aligned w ith one anoth er
(Figure 7). Refer to "Safety System “.
Insert th e filler cup (Figure 1/C), and lock it in.
Operating th e Blender
Place th e blender on a level, dry surface.
Open th e lid (Figure 1/D) and put all th e
req uired ingredients in th e tank . Im portant!
Do not exceed th e m axim um capacity of 1.5
litres.
You can add oth er ingredients th rough th e
filler h ole w h ile th e blender is running. You
can use th e filler cup in th e lid to do th is
(Figure 1/C). Close th e filler h ole im m ediately
after, to avoid splash ing.
Start th e blender by turning th e selector
(Figure 1/J) to th e righ t, or by pressing th e
Pulse Button (Figure 1/H ).
W e recom m end starting w ith blender Speed
1, th en progressing to Speed 2. To crush ice,
select Speed 3. Th e Pulse Button runs th e
blender at full speed.
After m ixing, first rem ove th e tank (Figure 3),
before tak ing off th e lid.
Do not let th e blender run for m ore th an 3
m inutes at a tim e. After running for 3
m inutes, th e blender sh ould be left to cool for
at least 10 m inutes.
