Positioning
Position your appliance wherever possible
as far away from heat sources as possible
(heating appliances, cookers or bright
sunlight). It should be installed at least 50 cm
away from radiators, gas or coal cookers,
and 5 cm away from electric ovens.
Level the appliance correctly by adjusting its
feet, so that it tilts slightly backwards to make
it easier to shut the doors.
The space underneath the appliance should
remain free to allow the air to circulate. Do
not cover it with a mat, etc.
Make sure that air can circulate freely all
around the appliance by keeping a clearance
of at least 30 mm on either side and of 50
mm behind it. If however you wish to position
the appliance in a recess or directly beneath a
cabinet, it is vital that you leave a clearance of
90 mm between the top of the appliance and
the cabinet above it.
Make sure you observe a minimum clearance
of 10 cm between the side of the appliance,
where the hinges are, and the wall to allow
the shelves to be removed when the door is
open.
If the appliance is installed beside
another refrigerator or freezer, observe a
minimum clearance of 2 cm to prevent any
condensation from forming.
To ensure your appliance operates
correctly, the ambient temperature of
the room in which it is installed must
be between +18°C and +38°C. Outside
this temperature range, its performance
levels may drop.
The appliance must be unpluggable at
all times; it is therefore necessary for the
wall socket to remain accessible once
installation is complete.
On commissioning
Clean the interior with warm water and
odourless detergent (washing-up liquid)
before using the appliance. Rinse and dry
thoroughly.
If you unplug or turn off the appliance, wait
at least 10 minutes before plugging it back in
or turning it back on to avoid damaging the
compressor.
Electrical connection
Your appliance should only be plugged into
a 230 V single-phase socket. Make sure
your electricity meter can provide the power
absorbed by your appliance taking into account
the other appliances already plugged in.
Rating of the linear fuses (one per phase)
10 A at 230 V.
Important
The appliance must be installed
according to good practice and in
compliance with the provisions of
standard NFC15100 and with the
