11.1 Catalytic cleaning
The walls with a catalytic coating are self-
cleaning. They absorb fat which collects
on walls while the appliance operates.
1.
Remove all parts from the appliance.
The catalytic cleaning
procedure cannot start:
If you do not remove the shelf
support or telescopic shelf run-
ners (if present).
If you do not fully close the
door.

Activate the Catalysis function in the
main menu.
3.
Press OK to confirm.
The display shows the time of day
and duration of the cleaning process
(1 hour). You cannot change the du-
ration, but you can use the End Time
function to delay the start of the
cleaning process.
4.
An acoustic signal sounds after the
time ends. The appliance deactivates.
5.
Touch a sensor field to stop the sig-
nal.
6.
Wipe the bottom of the appliance with
a soft and moist sponge.
When the appliance is at the set tem-
perature, the door locks.
During catalytic cleaning the lamp is on.
Spots or discolouration of the catalytic
surface have no effect on the catalytic
properties.
11.2 Shelf supports
Removing the shelf supports
You can remove the shelf supports to
clean the side walls.

Pull the front of the shelf support
away from the side wall.

Pull the rear end of the shelf support
away from the side wall and remove
it.
Installing the shelf supports
Install the shelf supports in the opposite
sequence.
11.3 Removing / inserting the
door
To clean the door remove it.
